Fine Drought Art

Fine Drought Art

This is a series of aerial images taken of drought landscapes from around the world where various beach scenes have either been setup or been photoshopped into the scene. The juxtaposition between the vibrant beach scene against the backdrop of drought and the accompanying feeling of crisis this conjures up is meant to be a commentary on our apparent apathetic attitude towards helping fix local and global water crisis'. More of us urgently to stand up and take responsibility for changing how we think about and use water.

Cape Town

The series of aerial images seen here are of the hell-scape state of Cape Town’s feeder dams taken in 2018 during the the cities worst drought in recorded history.
