Every September for the last 12 years 600 trail runners look to cover 250km over 8 consecutive days, including 16,000m of mountain trail elevation gain, from Germany to Austria, Switzerland and Italy, from summer to autumn, from despair to triumph and back again. This is the Gore-Tex TransAlpine Run
